Who are the data subjects?

We process personal data relating to: representatives of our clients; representatives of our suppliers; job applicants; visitors to our Website and our premises; and other data subjects (collectively “data subjects”, “you”, “your”). This privacy policy applies to all processing of your personal data carried out by us.

Our commitment

We are committed to ensuring that our personal data processing activities comply with applicable data protection legislation, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Belgian Law of July 30, 2018, as amended or replaced from time to time.

Purposes of processing

  • Client representatives: identification and contact data for business relationship management, billing, and marketing communications where applicable
  • Supplier representatives: identification and contact data to manage our business relationship
  • Job applicants: identification data, professional life data (skills, qualifications, experience), and CV content to evaluate your profile
  • Website visitors: electronic identification data in aggregate to measure traffic, improve user experience, and prevent fraud
  • General: restructuring operations, internal and external audits, managing disputes and legal claims

We do not subject data subjects to decisions based solely on automated processing with legal or significant effects.

Data sources

Data is collected directly from you (e.g., during first contact) or from publicly available sources (e.g., the Internet for screening job applicants).

Who has access?

Access is limited to: our administrative and sales staff; our procurement team (for suppliers); legal advisors in the event of restructuring or litigation. We use processors (sub-contractors) only under written instructions in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

International transfers

Some recipients may be located outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, we ensure safeguards are in place: an adequacy decision by the European Commission, Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), or the current equivalent legal mechanism for US transfers.

Retention periods

Data is kept only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. Accounting documents are kept for seven (7) years per legal requirements. Other criteria include the date of last contact, security needs, and ongoing disputes.
